Hi, I'm Melissa.
WanderfulSouls started on a hike somewhere in Europe that left my lips cracked and burned for a week. I had sunscreen on my face. I had nothing on my lips.
So I bought SPF lip balms. Lots of them. They tasted like a bottle of suncream, left a white layer or felt so sticky I stopped putting them on by lunch. A balm you stop using doesn't protect anything.
So we made one thing: an SPF 30 lip balm you'll actually keep reapplying.
How we make it
- Made in Hürth, Germany by a specialist lip care manufacturer.
- SPF 30 tested on people under ISO 24444 by an independent lab in Bonn.
- UVA tested under ISO 24443, to the level the EU recommends.
- Safety assessed under the EU Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009.
What we care about
- Honesty over hype. If we can't back a claim, we don't make it. That's why we tell you it's not vegan and not water resistant.
- Function is the point. It has to work on a windy ridge, not just look nice on a shelf.
- Made with intention. One product, done well, instead of ten that are just okay.
- Real people, real conditions. Tested on trails and slopes by women who are out there every weekend.
